Welcome ... and Farewell

No more Traditional Latin Masses are planned at Spetchley.   A new website, "Extraordinary Malvern" and associated Facebook Page have now been set up specifically to publicise progress in establishing regular Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form ten miles away at St Wulstan's, Little Malvern.


Chapel Closed

No more weekly Sunday Masses are planned in the chapel at Spetchley Park.

St John the Baptist, Spetchley Park

This privately owned chapel was made available to the local Catholic community until November AD 2017 by kind permission of the Berkeley family, who own both Spetchley Park in Worcestershire and Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire.   

Spetchley Park, near Worcester lies in the parish of St George within the Archdiocese of Birmingham, a province of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales in Communion with the Holy See.

The celebrations indicated are those according to the Ordinary Form Calendar for the Archdiocese of Birmingham.  The Divine Office seeks to fulfill the instruction of Psalm 118(119):  "Seven times a day I praise You".
